Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels got the tattoos after performing their duet 'Anxiety' live for the first time.
Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels just kissed on the lips and got matching tattoos and the entire internet is freaking out.
Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels have been best friends for years. The two popstars became close when Julia worked as a songwriter on Selena's 2015 album Revival and, since then, they've written multiple hits together ('Good for You', 'Bad Liar', 'Hand to Myself'). Julia even co-wrote Selena's latest single 'Lose You to Love Me', which received widespread praise and became Selena's first US Number 1 single. Selena also recorded a personal duet with Julia this year called 'Anxiety'.

On Monday (Nov 11), Selena and Julia performed 'Anxiety' live and they celebrated in the best way possible.
During Julia's recent Inner Monologue Tour in LA, Selena made a surprise appearance. The 27-year-old joined Julia on stage to sing 'Anxiety' live together for the first time ever. Obviously, the performance was brilliant but fans couldn't get over what happened next. After Selena and Julia finished singing the song together, they hugged each other and then kissed each other right on the lips.
Naturally, fans started losing it. One fan tweeted a clip of the kiss writing: "MY GAY ASS HEART CANT DEAL." and another fan added: "SELENA KISSED JULIA ON STAGE LAST NIGHT I'M CRYINNN BABIES". Someone even tweeted: "okay the only jelena i claim is selena and julia". People even started speculating that Selena and Julia are dating.
As far as we know, Selena and Julia are still just good friends but it's easy to understand why fans are living for it.

After the event, Julia took to Instagram to share photos of her and Selena with the caption: "I’m kind of convinced these last few days aren’t real. Thank you @selenagomez for the most epic headline show I’ve ever played. I love you beyond words and I’m so happy we finally got to sing our baby together :)"
If that weren't enough, Selena and Julia also celebrated the occasion by getting matching tattoos. Following Julia's concert, they both headed to the studio to get tatted up and they even drew the tattoos themselves. Taking to her Instagram stories, Selena wrote: "It's tatted... my arrow points to you forever" alongside a photo of her and Julia comparing them. She also posted close-ups of the tattoos and a screenshot of her kissing Julia with a heart emoji.
The tattoos come just days after Selena attended Julia's 90s prom-themed birthday party and shared photos from the night with the caption: "My love, my heart and my soul @juliamichaels".
