Sam Smith has officially joined the line-up for the Capital Summertime Ball 2015 with Vodafone, after a stellar year that has seen the 22 year-old achieve critical and commercial success the world over.

The UK singer-songwriter will ready to blow the minds of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 6th June, and he's sure to bring along ALL of his fan-favourite hits like 'I'm Not The Only One', 'Money On My Mind' and, of course, 'Stay With Me'.

Not only is Sam joining us at the Ball this summer… but he was hand-picked by Capital's Dave Berry as part of his challenge to choose his own world-class act to play the #CapitalSTB.

Speaking to Dave this week, Sam confirmed he'll be well rested and back to his best by the time 6th June rolls around, all ready for the BIGGEST party of the summer.

"I'm excited about this year because I had to cancel last year because I was ill, I was sick, so I'm excited to go and hopefully make up for last year," Sam told Capital's Dave Berry. "Also just to be on that stage!

"I did it with Disclosure and I'm yet to do it with my own music, so I'm excited," he added. "Seeing that many people singing your song is just an amazing feeling. I can't wait to do it."
