Robin Thicke's Mum Jokes That She Can Never "Unsee" His Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 Duet

The 'Blurred Lines' singer's mum reacts to his duet with the US star at this year's VMAs.

Robin Thicke's mother has responded to her son's controversial live duet with Miley Cyrus during the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 and joked that she can "never unsee it".

The US star performed a duet of his single 'Blurred Lines' with 'We Can't Stop' singer Miley at Sunday's (25th August) awards show, and Miley caused widespread coverage online following her raunchy performance.

"I haven't seen this new incarnation of Miley Cyrus yet!" Robin's mum Gloria revealed on OMG! Insider, while watching the performance for the first time. "I just keep thinking of her mother and father watching this.

 "I was not expecting her to be putting her butt that close to my son, the problem is now I can never unsee it," she continued. "I don't understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do. I just don't understand."

Miley has enjoyed a huge sales boost of her single 'We Can't Stop' singer the performance, which comes ahead of her return with new album 'Bangerz' later this year.

The MTV Video Music Awards 2013 also saw performances from the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake.
