The UK singer has issued an apology to the Skyfall star after an incident where he made fun of the actor.
Robbie Williams says he ruined his chances of making friends with the current James Bond Daniel Craig after he was once rude to the Skyfall actor.
The 'Candy' singer says he feels "awful" about an exchange in the past when he mocked Daniel's role in the Matthew Vaughn gangster film Layer Cake, and advises people that "being obnoxious isn't good".
"I did ruin my chances of befriending Bond though!" Robbie revealed to Heart FM this week. "I was in Vegas once and I was at some celebrity party and I was sat on the table and I looked over my shoulder and there was Matthew Vaughn.
"And I turned around and looked at him, and he's just done Layer Cake with Daniel Craig', and I said to him, 'Hey mate, what happened to the script? I would've been better than your lead'," Robbie recalled. "And he said, 'Have you met Daniel?' And he was sat right next to him!"
Robbie went on to say that Daniel hasn't been very welcoming to him since the exchange but says he has felt "awful" about their first meeting.
"I felt awful and I felt awful ever since. Sometimes being obnoxious isn't good," Robbie added. "So Daniel, if you're listening, I love you. I'm sorry if you heard me being obnoxious."
