The famous playwright says the Bajan star has "enormous grace" and has hailed her talent.
Rihanna has been praised for her "daring sexuality" by acclaimed feminist writer, and author of The Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler.
The 'We Found Love' singer was described as "immensely talented" by the author, who said she finds the way Rihanna presents herself in the face of the media "very brave".
"I'm a huge Rihanna fan," the famous playwright revealed to MTV News. "I think she has a kind of agency over her sexuality and she's open about her sexuality.
"She has enormous grace and she's immensely talented," Eve continued. "And I find her, I just find her brave.
"There's something very daring and original and completely herself about her that I completely connect with," she continued. "Rihanna is walking around her full self, she's walking around in her body, she's walking around in her being, she's walking around in her aliveness.
