Rihanna upsets fans by not performing

Rihanna has upset her Australian fans by not performing for them at the Mardi Gras after-party.

According to the country's Daily Telegraph organisers were 'hoping' that the singer would make a last-minute decision to perform, despite only agreeing to attend as a guest during the week.

However, she just stayed in the backstage artists area watching Calvin Harris DJ.

A backstage source said: 'She wasn't feeling it.'

The CEO of New Mardi Gras, Michael Rolik said: 'She came to see Calvin Harris' set at 2.30 am and what the whole party was like.

'We're thrilled she could visit.'
