The 'You Da One' star has achieved the milestone after only seven years as a solo artist.
Rihanna has thanks fans after being named the number one artist of the past twenty years on the US Billboard Pop Chart.
The 'We Found Love' singer was given the accolade this month in a countdown of the top 40 artists of the chart's twenty year history.
Rihanna has had 34 songs charting on the weekly countdown including 21 top ten hits and a grand total of nine number ones, since her arrival on the chart seven years ago with debut single 'Pon De Replay'.
"Billboard crowned me #1 top 40 artist of the decade just 7 years into this!!" Rihanna tweeted this week. "My fans just majorly s**t on ur existence. #HistoRIH."
Rihanna topped the chart over other huge pop acts like Pink, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson, who came second, third and fourth, respectively, while the likes of Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Chris Brown all feature on the top 40 countdown.
