Rihanna Poses For Smoking Photo After Being Criticised By Cancer Charity

The 'You Da One' star has unveiled new press shots which show her holding a cigarette in her mouth.

Rihanna has unveiled a new photo which shows her smoking – just days after she was accused of glamourising the habit.

The 'You Da One' star is seen reclining on a staircase with a cigarette in her mouth in the image, which has been released ahead of the arrival of her new album 'Talk That Talk'.

Earlier this month, RiRi was accused of setting a bad example by smoking by a cancer charity based in Ireland, where she recently shot the video for 'We Found Love'.

A spokesperson for the charity, Doreen Reegan, said earlier this month: "After so much hype around the filming of the video it was very disappointing to see Rihanna so blatantly smoking throughout it.

"Artists such as Rihanna are held in high esteem and regarded as role-models by millions of young people. We are very concerned that young people watching the video will see smoking as glamorous and want to copy her behaviour."

She added: "Three-quarters of adult smokers start the habit as teenagers which is why it is so irresponsible of Rihanna to influence her young fan base in this way."

RiRi is currently in the middle of her UK 'Loud' tour, which continues at London's O2 Arena tonight (15^th November).

The 'Cheers' singer is also due to return to the venue next month to headline Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball.
