Rihanna Consoling Robert Pattinson Over Kristen Stewart Split With "Sexy" Text Messages?

The Twilight actor apparently thought someone was playing a prank on him at first.

Rihanna has reportedly been sending "sexy" and "funny" text messages to Robert Pattinson following the actor's recent split from Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

The 'You Da One' star is said to have got hold of the actor's number from a mutual friend and has thought he was "cute" for a long time, reports OK magazine.

"She got Rob's phone number from a mutual friend and has been sending him sexy, funny texts to cheer him up," a close source told the publication. "They've met several times at award bashes over the years.

"RiRi thinks he's very cute, but nothing ever came of it because he was attached to Kristen — and it's not her style to steal someone else's man."

The insider also added that the Harry Potter actor was suspicious of the actual source of the messages at first thinking someone was playing a prank on him.

"At first, Rob thought someone Punk'd him," the source added. "Eventually Rihanna convinced him she was for real, but Rob has been resisting her."

They continued: "Rihanna would love to meet up with him. And Rob's friends keep telling him he has to start enjoying life again. What better person to help cheer him up than Rihanna?"

Robert recently made his first televised interview since news of Kristen's affair broke and also recently admitted that he had moved out of the couples home.

Meanwhile, Rihanna also opened up on her own love-life in an in-depth interview with Oprah Winfrey where she declared she still loves former boyfriend Chris Brown.
