Rihanna's whirlwind trip

Three costume changes, a medley of hits, a BRIT award and thousands of people in love with her...Rihanna certainly made an impression at the 2011 BRIT Awards.

Rihanna's stay in the UK was short and sweet - she was jetting back to the States last night...still feeling a little poorly after a bout of laryngitis and bronchitis.

Ri-Ri whose sexy performance with Drake was one of the highlights of Sunday's Grammys didn't disappoint her British fans and looked stunning throughout the evening.

The 22 year old sparkled on the red carpet in a £10,000 Christian Dior dress before performing a medley of S&M, What's My Name and Only Girl (in the world).

Cheryl Cole then described Rihanna as her girl crush before presenting her with the BRIT Award for Best International Female (beating best friend Katy Perry).

Before departing Rihanna tweeted, "Came wit a Grammy, left wit a Brit!!! Yea, I'm feelin myself a lil bit rt now, lol! UK massive stand up! I love u "
