Rihanna: Lady Gaga's outfits are dangerous
Rihanna was petrified she was going to be impaled on a spike coming from Lady Gagas dress when she met her.
The two stars are often compared because they both love fashion, although their style is very different. Lady Gaga favours costume-like pieces, while Rihanna likes straight fashion with an edgy twist. They have met in the past, and Rihanna admits being amazed by Lady Gagas outfit.
Have I met her? Sure. She was cool. It was a radio show in New York, she had a little white dress with spikes and I didnt want to get punctured by them but shes a nice person, she said.
Rihanna tries to be relaxed about her clothes, but admits she always worries shell turn up to an event dressed in the same thing as someone else. To prevent mishaps, she and her good friend Katy Perry always text each other with their outfit choices to ensure they match.
We're all kind of fearless with fashion. So Katy and I speak all the time about what we're going to wear. And Gaga, she has revealed. One time we were going to the Met Ball, and Katy phoned me to check. We were like Oh My God, we were both going in this dress by Dolce & Gabbana with Marilyn Monroe's face all over it. She was like, 'You can't. I've had my nails done in mink and it matches the dress.' I thought, seeing as she'd gone to all that effort, I'd let her wear it.
