Rihanna reconnects with Chris Brown over Twitter

Rihanna has reconnected with her ex Chris Brown on Twitter.

The 'S&M' singer added the 'Kiss Kiss' star to the list of people she follows on her social networking account over the weekend.

Brown followed suit and added her to his own list of friends much to the dismay of some of Riri's fans.

'I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, it's your life but you do have (people) that look up to you. e.g. young girls,' one fan wrote.

But the singer hit back and tweeted: 'It's f****** Twitter not the altar! Calm down.'

Riri has since apologised to the fan for her initial comments.

Brown was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service for assaulting his then-girlfriend in February 2009.
