Rihanna And Taylor Swift Lead Oscars Goes Pop Music Video Nominations

To celebrate the Oscars 2013, we've put together a look at the finest achievements in music videos from the past 12 months.

Rihanna has been nominated a total of six times as Capitalfm.com offers a twist on this weekend's Oscars 2013 with a set of awards dedicated to the best music videos.

The Bajan star has picked up the nods in the likes of Best Video, Best Actress and Biggest OMG! Moment.

Her achievements in 'Stay' and 'Princess Of China' have been honoured as have Taylor Swift for 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

PSY's global dominating 'Gangnam Style' is also up for Best Video alongside efforts from the likes of Maroon 5, Usher and Katy Perry.

Best Kiss is also a hotly contested category with One Direction, Lawson and Nicki Minaj all fighting it out.

The 85^th Academy Awards take place live from Hollywood on Sunday night (24^th February) and will feature the first live performance from Adele since giving birth – as she takes to the stage to sing 'Skyfall' during a special James Bond segment.
