Rihanna Vs. Kim Kardashian: Battle Of The Dresses

The 'You Da One' singer and reality star Kim were pictured out in the same Givenchy dress this week.

Rihanna and Kim Kardashian have been spotted out wearing the same dress at different times over the past seven days, sparking a battle of the dresses across the tabloid press.

Last week 'We Found Love' singer Rihanna wore a navy blue Givenchy dress, worth around $1000, while attending a family event in New York City to mourn the recent loss of her grandma Dolly.

Rihanna paired the long sleeved, low-cut ensemble with a simple black jewelled necklace and gold strapped heels, while wearing her hair up in a tight bun.

Then less than seven days later reality TV star Kim Kardashian was pictured in the same dress while attending the Los Angeles opening of the family's latest Dash clothing store on Saturday evening (14th July), out in Melrose Boulevard, West Hollywood.

Kim dressed the look up with expensive Christian Louboutin pumps, a gold necklace and tied back hair, while heading out to the high profile event.

Earlier this week it was announced that Rihanna is planning to step into the fashion world for real this year when she designs her own collection for UK fashion label River Island, set to debut in spring 2013.

Rihanna is also currently at work on her seventh studio album and is reportedly working alongside several notable writers and producers including Ne-Yo, Labrinth and Fazer.
