Rihanna Hugs Katy Perry During Coachella Festival 2012 Performance

The 'We Found Love' singer stopped to embrace the 'Part Of Me' star during her set at the California festival.
Rihanna and Katy Perry's close friendship was left in no doubt over the weekend when the 'You Da One' singer stopped to give' Teenage Dream' star Katy a hug during her set at Coachella Festival.
The 'We Found Love' singer was performing alongside 'Loud' tour support Calvin Harris at the popular Californian festival when she jumped off the stage midway through her show to give a quick embrace to a newly purple-haired Katy.
Rihanna was later pictured partying with the 'California Gurls' singer while sporting short studded shorts and her trademark BOY London cap, while Katy Perry rocked a loose floral dress.
Both singers admitted being moved by the TuPac holographic tribute at this year's Coachella, with Rihanna describing it as one of the best night of her life and Katy saying she had been moved to tears by the tribute performance.
Rihanna recently confirmed that she and Katy Perry are both planning to record a duet together at some point in the near future.
