The 'You Da One' singer reveals she helped to design the impressive black dress she wore at the Grammys 2012.
Rihanna took to the red carpet at the Grammy Awards last night (12th February) in Los Angeles wearing an eye-catching black dress that was the product of a new collaboration between herself and Emporio Armani.
The 'Talk That Talk' star arrived at yesterday's prestigious award ceremony showing off her new blonde hairstyle and wearing a split hemmed black dress, and says she went for a "simple but sexy" look.
"This is a collaboration between Mr. Armani and myself," Rihanna told E! Online, during the event. "I helped him design this one.
"I wanted something a bit Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface, simply but sexy and a little gangster at the same time."
Rihanna has worked with Emporio Armani on several campaigns over the past year, having designed a jeans and underwear range for the brand.
"We have a pretty good relationship now since we've been together on the campaigns and I've been designing a catsuit range for his collection," she explained. "So he trusts my design a little bit now, so I get to play with him."
Rihanna picked up the Grammy award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration yesterday for her 2011 single 'All Of The Lights' with rapper Kanye West.
The Bajan singer also performed her Big Top 40 hit 'We Found Love' before giving a duet performance with Coldplay of their track 'Princess Of China'.
