The Bajan singer says she chooses her clothes based on what she likes rather than what people will think of her looks.
Rihanna has opened up about her sense of style and says she doesn't dress to be controversial but enjoys choosing "daring" clothes when she goes out in public.
The 'We Found Love' singer admits she likes to have fun with what she wears, as well as adding in her own "badass touches", but insists her clothing choices are never about sparking a reaction from people.
"Dressing is always so spontaneous, it always depends on the mood plus the occasion plus your little badass daring touch that i like to but on my outfit every time," Rihanna told Access Hollywood earlier this week. "Really I don't do things for the response or for the controversy. I live my life like I want to.
"A lot of the clothes that [I like] sometimes are sheer, sometimes are very daring and I'm OK with that," the 'You da One' singer explained. "I"m Ok with buying a sheer shirt because if I bought it sheer that means I was OK with you seeing through it. I wear it my way.
While discussing her recent appearance that saw her pictured in a black sheer top without a bra on underneath, Rihanna says it wasn't done for the attention but rather because "it would mess up the outfit completely".
She added: "I just like to have fun with wearing clothing.
Rihanna celebrated a Twitter milestone earlier today (16th March) after the 'Talk That Talk' star reached over 15 million followers on the social networking site.
