The 'You Da One' singer wished the R&B singer well before he received a warning from a Los Angeles judge.
Rihanna offered a public display of her affection towards former boyfriend Chris Brown yesterday (24th September) as she wished him well ahead of his court appearance.
The 'We Found Love' singer took to her Twitter account to post a message to the R&B star where she wished him well and sent her "prayers" to the singer.
"I'm praying for you and wishing u the best today," she tweeted with the 'Turn Up The Music' singer responding: " thank u so much."
The Bajan singer also posted a more cryptic message believed to be aimed at Chris shortly after.
"Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love," she wrote.
During his probation court appearance, the singer was given a warning by a Los Angeles judge for testing positive for cannabis but was said to have a medical marijuana card in California, reports TMZ.
It is said that he failed the test in Virginia, where the substance is banned – even with a medical card.
The judge addressed the star to say: "You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do. You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation."
Rihanna and Chris Brown shocked the world this month when they shared their first public embrace for three years at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 and have been rumoured to have rekindled their relationship all year.
During a recent interview with Oprah, Rihanna also confessed that the pair were still very close and she still loved him.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is set to unveil her new single 'Diamonds' tomorrow afternoon (26th September) and is finialising work on her seventh studio album.
