Louis Tomlinson 'Two of Us' video: Everyone is crying over Richard's true story
25 April 2019, 16:47
The song is a tribute to his mother Johannah Deakin who passed away in 2016.
Louis Tomlinson just released a music video for "Two of Us" and it's the cutest thing you'll see this week. The video features 83-year-old Richard, who Louis helps to tick off experiences from his bucket list after he lost his wife to Alzheimer's.
The One Direction star shared a quote about the music video on Instagram and admitted that it felt "particularly relevant and powerful" to him because of his own losses.
Louis' mum Johannah died following a battle with leukaemia in December 2016, which was around the same time that Richard's wife Pat passed away. The singer also lost his younger sister Félicité Tomlinson in March, after she had a heart attack aged 18.
In the video, Louis and Richard reflect on the life he had with his wife Pat and how his life had changed since she died. The duo then set off to tick some things off of Richard's bucket list, which included flying a helicopter, driving a race car and going on a roller coaster. Louis even commemorated the occasion by getting a new tattoo – from Richard.
In a final gesture, Louis sweetly brought Richard out at one of his gigs, after he shared how much he loves singing. Richard then belted out Andrea Bocelli's Con Te Partiro in front of a screaming audience and they finished by going to the pub together.
Check out the touching video here.

Louis could’ve made a music video about himself and the terrible tragedies he has experienced but instead he used the opportunity to make someone else happy. What a guy. #LouisAndRichard pic.twitter.com/osWw53q7AZ
