The 'Read All About It' star will join the likes of Beady Eye for the newly reformed rock outfit.
Professor Green will support the newly reformed British band The Stone Roses at their Manchester Heaton Park residency shows this summer.
The 'Never Be A Right Time' rapper will take to the stage on Saturday 30th June for the gig which will also see Liam Gallagher's outfit Beady Eye perform.
Other support acts confirmed for the show's include Plan B, Primal Scream and The Wailers.
The star took to his Twitter account to reveal that frontman Ian Brown personally asked him to perform at the show.
He tweeted: "Ian Brown asked me to support @thestonerosesat Heaton Park... I of course said f*** yea!!! See you there on Sat 30th June!!"
The 'Monster' star also revealed that he almost worked with Ian on his album 'Allive Til I'm Dead' and hopes he can get the star and Liam on a song.
"Now if I could get Ian and Liam on a song... I actually nearly worked witj Ian on ATID... It shall happen in the future!," he added.
Meanwhile, Pro Green is to work with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson after the metal band start confessed he was a huge fan of the British star after they met up during a recent tour of Australia.
