The 'Read All About It' star admits he was referencing a line from a Nas track.
Professor Green has apologised for comments he made on Twitter this weekend referencing bulimia.
The 'Never Be A Right Time' rapper came under fire from some media sources for his remarks calling the eating disorder "intelligent".
However, he took to his social networking account today (30th July) to apologise for any offence caused explaining he was simply referencing a lyrics from Nas' track 'Queens Get The Money'.
"i'd just like to take this moment to apologise for my insensitive tweets. not jus the bulimia one, all of them. even the really funny ones," he tweeted, adding: "i'll also be sanitising my music."
He continued: "the bulimia / sea saw line was a NAS LYRIC. mine was 'soon as i'm done calling this bulimic a fat b****'."
"People should really be smart enough to read things and agree / disagree with them. As if I'd actually promote an eating disorder..."
"I'm stupid for one reason and one reason only, expecting that any majority of my followers would know a Nas lyric when they saw one."
After he made the original comments, he also predicted an onslaught of criticism.
Meanwhile, Pro Green is currently set to start work on his new studio album and is set to collaborate with Rita Ora.
He is also due to team up with Skipknot DJ Sid Wilson after the pair met out in Australia earlier this year.
