The 'Midnight Memories' star says he is looking forward to catching up with Pharrell very soon.
Pharrell Williams and One Direction's Liam Payne have tweeted each other about their excitement to get back into the recording studio.
The 'Happy' singer turned 41 over the weekend (5th April), and 1D star Liam tweeted the US artist with his best wishes.
The pair also hinted at plans to get into the studio to work on some new music together very soon, as One Direction continue to record for their new album.
"Happy birthday @Pharrell hope you have a great day look forward to getting back in the studio with you next time I'm in Cali," Liam tweeted over the weekend, after which Pharrell replied: "For sure! And thank you @Real_Liam_Payne."
