Pharrell Williams Reveals One Direction Collaboration Plans: "We Are Definitely In Talks"

The 'Blurred Lines' singer says he is hoping to work on the band's third studio album with them.
Pharrell Williams has confirmed he is in talks to work with One Direction on songs for their brand new album 'Midnight Memories'.
The 'Get Lucky' singer, who has been behind some of the year's biggest songs so far, admitted he is hoping to work with the UK boy band on some new material, and says he has been "pleasantly surprised" by the group's new musical direction.
"We are definitely talking," Pharrell revealed to the Daily Mirror recently. "From what I"m heard of their new stuff I'm pleasantly surprised.
"Their new stuff is definitely a profession and an elevation," he explained. "I will hopefully be getting involved as we are definitely in talks."
"They are incredibly hard-working," Pharrell teased. "I'm sure it will excite our female fans if we're on a record together."

Last week saw the official announcement of One Direction's new album 'Midnight Memories', the boys' third studio release to date.
One Direction will release 'Midnight Memories', including recent single 'Best Song Ever' on 25th November.
