The 'G I R L' singer opens up on his family life in a revealing new interview.
Pharrell Williams has opened up on the things that make him "Happy" while performing some of his new material from recent album 'G I R L'.
The 'Blurred Lines' singer, who appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, was asked the question on Good Morning America this week in relation to his recent Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Happy'.
The US star named "family and friends" as the things that make him most happy in his life, explaining: "[I love] doing what I love to do every day, feeling like I get paid for nothing".
As well as quoting his own 'Happy' song lyric by saying his wife Helen Lasichanh as being someone who makes him feel "like a room without a roof", Pharrell admitted that he can't always stay happy.
"I'm a human being, life has its valleys and peaks but, for the most part, I'm very appreciative," he added.
