One Direction's Zayn Malik Romance Report "Rubbish", Says Little Mix Star

The X Factor winner says she has never been in a relationship with the 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer.

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has labelled claims she dated and dumped One Direction's Zayn Malik as "ridiculous".

It was claimed the two teen singers began a secret romance after meeting on the set of charity music video 'Wishing On A Star'.

Perrie was then alleged to have ended the relationship after winning The X Factor 2011 with her girl band Little Mix on Sunday (11^th December).

However Perrie has now spoken out about the widespread rumours and insists she hardly knows the 'Gotta Be You' singer.

"It's ridiculous. How can I possibly have dumped someone that I barely even know?" Perrie told The Mirror.

"It's actually massively embarrassing – and he must be like, 'What the hell?"

Perrie instead revealed she has a "real thing" for Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp.

Little Mix are on course to top the Vodafone Big Top 40 this weekend with their debut single, a cover of Damien Rice's track 'Cannonball'.
