The 'One Thing' singer thanks fans for the presents and messages he received for his nineteenth birthday this week.
One Direction's Zayn Malik has released a video thanking fans for their birthday messages to him.
The 'Gotta Be You' singer turned 19 yesterday (12th January) and receiving Twitter messages of congratulations from fans, as well as his band mates and fellow boy band JLS.
"Just wanted to do a quick video to say thank you for all your birthday messages, presents and tweets that I've been getting from you," Zayn says in the clip. "You guys are amazing so thank you."
One Direction were nominated for Best Song at the BRIT Awards 2012 nominations party yesterday for their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
After learning of the nominations, Liam Payne tweeted a message of thanks and called the nod a "massive" birthday present for Zayn.
Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.
Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.

The ceremony for this year's BRIT Awards will take place at London's O2 Arena on 21st February.
One Direction are also due to unveil the music video for their third single 'One Thing' later today (13th January).
