The 'One Thing' stars use of Twitter, Facebook and YouTube has earned them another accolade.
One Direction have been named the most successful act from The X Factor UK in terms of social media presence online.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' five-piece easily topped the chart by Starcount by amassing 117.5 million points, calculated from their presence on websites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The achievement comes just days after One Direction were announced as the highest new entry on Heat's top ten list of the richest British stars under 30, after it was estimated that they have a combined wealth of £26.33 million.
Second on the countdown of all time social media presence was former X Factor winner Leona Lewis with 27.8 million points while 'Want U Back' singe Cher Lloyd amassed 26 million.

Little Mix followed in fourth place following their recent success with their single 'Wings', while Amelia Lily was at ten with 3.4 million points after her debut single 'You Bring Me Joy' earlier this summer.
One Direction came third on the 2010 series of The X Factor UK and have gone on to have huge success in both the UK and the US with their debut album 'Up All Night' as well as singles like recent Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Live While We're Young'.
