Zayn Malik Dating The X Factor Star Perrie Edwards From Little Mix?

The boy band star is said to have begun dating one of the members of the the ITV1 show's four-piece girl band.

One Direction's Zayn Malik has reportedly begun a romance with The X Factor hopeful Perrie Edwards from the girl band Little Mix.

The singer was allegedly spotted kissing the young singer backstage at The X Factor studios last month following One Direction's performance of their new single 'Gotta Be You'.

The two reality show stars were also said to be been seen "getting cosy" while filming the music video for this year's The X Factor charity single, a cover of Rose Royce's 'Wishing On A Star'.

The Sun reports that Zayn's budding romance is likely to upset fellow One Direction star Niall Horan, who is also said to be interested in the Little Mix singer.

"Zayn has got in there first but Niall is obsessed with her too," a source told The Sun this week. "They met her on the video shoot and have both been trying to win her over.

"They plan to come out as a couple after the X Factor has finished."

Zayn was previously in a relationship with The X Factor 2010 runner-up Rebecca Ferguson but the couple confirmed their split in July this year.

Earlier this week One Direction filmed the video for their third single 'One Thing' in central London with an impromptu performance at Trafalgar Square.
