One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' Breaks Records

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars One Direction bag the biggest week-one selling single of the year.

Last week One Direction celebrated their debut single bagging the No. 1 on the Vodafone Big Top 40, and the celebrations haven't stopped since.

The boys partied in honour of Niall's 18th birthday, then the gang were given a massive birthday cake at their G.A.Y. gig in London this weekend.

And to top it all of the boys single 'What Makes You Beautiful' sold a whopping 153,000 copies in week one of release which makes it the biggest seller of 2011.

Despite the new song breaking records, One Direction were knocked from the No. 1 spot on yesterday's chart by Dappy with his debut solo single 'No Regrets'.
