The 'Little Things' star says he thinks the dancing trend isn't appropriate for One Direction's young fans.
One Direction star Harry Styles says he doesn't approve of the current trend of 'twerking', popularised by stars like Miley Cyrus, and thinks it's "inappropriate" for young fans.
The 'Live While We're Young' singer says he feels the dancing trend is "promoting promiscuity" by being aimed at young fan groups like those of the 'We Can' Stop' singer.
"I think it's quite inappropriate, me," Harry revealed to MovieFone recently. "Especially for the age groups that it's aimed at."
When asked whether the band worry about what things their young fans are exposed to through the media, Harry admitted twerking is something he is concerned about.
"When they're tweaking, yes," Harry declared. 'I think, you know, it's promoting promiscuity."

Twerking has gained renewed popularity over the past several months, particularly in light of her highly talked about performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 in August.
'Kiss You' singer Harry himself gave twerking a go at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 last month as a dare from some of the presenters, but later seemed to regret his decision when he tweeted: "Not to self. Don't twerk".
One Direction launched their new 3D concert movie This Is Us worldwide at the end of August.
