Band's fans point out comparisons between One Direction's elbow dance and film.
One Direction appear to have been inspired by The Inbetweeners in the video for their new single, 'One Thing'.
The clip for the group's latest video was unveiled on Friday (13th January).
Many fans have pointed to the similarities between One Direction's dancing and a section of The Inbetweeners Movie where Simon, Will and Neil perform the elbow dance in a nightclub.
In the 'One Thing' video, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik perform the same routine in front of a London bus.
One Direction filmed some of the 'One Thing' video in and around London's Trafalgar Square back in November 2011, after asking fans on Twitter to come down and join them on the shoot.
'One Thing' follows previous singles 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Gotta Be You' and serves as the third single release from the band's debut studio album 'Up All Night'.
