One Direction Win Big At The Teen Choice Awards – And Beat Zayn Malik For Top Hottie!

One Direction were the big winners of the night, taking home eight awards while Little Mix bagged their first American award for Breakout Artist.

Given that the Teen Choice Awards are, well, chosen by teenagers, it’s no wonder One Direction were BIG winners on the night – the boys walked away with a huge EIGHT awards over the weekend.

As well as bagging the accolades for Summer Tour, Music Group: Male and Song: Group, the boys also walked away with the award for Male Hottie – beating their former bandmate Zayn Malik who was also nominated. Awk. 

As well as being beaten by his former band, Zayn’s ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards and the rest of Little Mix managed to bag the award for Music Breakout Artist, beating Meghan Trainor and The Weeknd, proving their promo time in the USA recently has been well spent.

As well as picking up their award, Little Mix also performed their hit song ‘Black Magic’ on the night, and 5 Seconds Of Summer took to the stage to perform their new song ‘She’s Kinda Hot’.
