The group concluded 134 shows this weekend in Tokyo – also launching their movie This Is Us in Japan.
One Direction were taking to Twitter yesterday (3rd November) to thank their fans following the conclusion of their 'Take Me Home' world tour.
The group set out on the road back in February at London's O2 Arena and ended the 134 shows at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan.
Niall Horan took to Twitter to write: "I've had an amazing year! Thank you all soo much ! never forget this tour !
"Feels like years ago we started on that freezing cold night in February at the O2 in London !
"134 shows !And I wasn't bored for one show because we have the best fans on the planet, and we do all this for u,coz u gave all of this t us
There was also equal thanks from Liam Payne, who added: "Liam Wowweee tour finished , thank you to everyone who made it brilliantttt!"
The 'Little Things' stars were also in Tokyo at the launch of their This Is Us movie.
Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn spent time with their fans as they attended the premiere.
The group will be back on the road in 2014 for their first ever Stadium dates.
Meanwhile, the music video for new single 'Story Of My Life' premiered on Capital TV this past weekend.
One Direction release new album 'Midnight Memories' on 25th November.
