The 'Gotta Be You' singers have filmed scenes in the UK's capital for their third music video.
One Direction have confirmed that 'One Thing' will be the next single to be released from their debut album 'Up All Night'.
The five-piece boy band issued a call out to their fans on Twitter yesterday afternoon asking them to come to Trafalgar Square in London for an impromptu concert.
The event was to be filmed as part of the group's music video for 'One Thing', their third single after 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Gotta Be You'.
"Trafalgar Square…Let's Do It!!!" Harry Styles tweeted yesterday (28th November).
"So just finished what was a fun an successful day. A positive outlook on life is all you need and after that everything falls into place," Zayn Malik posted after the event.
"What a great day on the 'One Thing' video shoot. Thank you to everyone that came down!" Fellow band member Louis Tomlinson also tweeted.

Yesterday One Direction's Liam Payne issued a message of thanks to the band's fans for helping them score one of the year's fastest-selling debut albums.
'Up All Night' was released last week and charted in second place on the UK Album Chart behind Rihanna's latest album 'Talk That Talk'.
One Direction are due to perform on the second day of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball this weekend (4th December) alongside Jessie J, JLS, The Saturdays, Emeli Sande and Wretch 32.
