The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers say they haven't changed since forming on The X Factor two years ago.
One Direction say they are all just "normal guys" and will not let their new-found fame go to their heads.
The 'Gotta Be You' singers scored their first Vodafone Big Top 40 number one in September 2011 with 'What Makes You Beautiful', and also performed at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball in December, but insist they haven't changed since forming back in 2010.
"We're normal guys," Harry told the Daily Star. "We're not lads who went to stage school and we have our feet on the ground.
Fellow One Direction star Liam Payne claims the five-piece boy band would never let themselves develop an ego about their fame.
"Our video for out new single was filmed in London," Liam explained. "We're not divas, we've got no interest in jetting off to the Caribbean just to shoot a video.
Earlier this week Liam tweeted a message of thanks to the band's fans for supporting them, and apologising for being quiet on Twitter during their current UK tour.
One Direction unveiled their third music video last week for new single 'One Thing', taken from the band's debut studio album 'Up All Night'.
