The 'Kiss You' singer says he has his "fingers crossed" that the band win at tonight's ceremony.
One Direction star Niall Horan and Jessie J say they can't wait to attend the BRIT Awards 2013 later today (20th February), with the boy band star admitting he has his "fingers crossed" the boys walk home with a gong.
The 'Live While We're Young' singers will perform their new charity song 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)' during this evening's ceremony, as well as being nominated for British Group, while 'Domino' singer Jessie is in the running for British Single with Capital FM.
Irish star Niall says tonight will be "a lot of fun" and admits he is looking forward to catching up with some of his pop peers at the star-studded awards bash.
"Good morning! BRITs are here! Can't wait for tonight," Niall tweeted this morning. "Gona be a lot of fun… a lot of cool people will be there!
"And fingers crossed for an award!" Niall added.
Earlier this week fellow One Direction star Harry Styles told Capital the boys are "not really" feeling confident about their chances of taking a BRIT award home, predicting that Mumford & Sons will walk away with the gong.
Fellow UK star Jessie J is also gearing up to attend tonight's event, and sent a cheeky message to her followers on Twitter today after realising it will be the third time she has been to the BRITs.
"BRITS! 3rd year! Cray cray! *finger snap hair flick*," Jessie simply posted, while preparing to get dressed up for the show's red carpet.

This evening's event will boast performances from some of the biggest artists in the world including Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Emeli Sande and, as mentioned, One Direction.
The BRIT Awards 2013 will be hosted by James Corden and air live from London's O2 Arena from 8pm tonight.
