The 'Live While We're Young' singer has been showing off a new look during the band's stay in Japan.
One Direction star Zayn Malik has ditched his trademark quiff hairstyle after the band's arrival in Japan this week.
The 'Little Things' singer, who has become well known for his gravity-defying quiff over the past year or so, has dropped the look in favour of a messy, longer hairstyle which he showed off during a promotional appearance in Tokyo yesterday (17th January).
Zayn was pictured alongside his One Direction bandmates during a press conference in the Japanese capital to promote their album 'Take Me Home', and kept his look simple with a red plaid shirt, jeans and a plain white t-shirt.
The 'Live While We're Young' singer has worn his hair in a high quiff ever since the band's first single 'What Makes You Beautiful' back in September 2011, although he did also adopt a blonde streak in his hair for much of 2012.
