Liam Payne Shows Off New Hair As He Speaks About Danielle Peazer Split

The 'Live While We're Young' star says he hopes the pair can still be friends following their surprise break-up.

One Direction's Liam Payne showed off his new shaved hair as he opened up for the first time about his recent split from girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The 'Live While We're Young' star, who split from Danielle last week, was pictured out and about in London last night (1st October).

Casually dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans, Liam looked relaxed and happy as he walked alongside a friend.

In an interview with The Sun today (2nd October), the singer spoke about the reasons behind his split from Danielle and said he was hopeful they could remain friends.

"Danielle is great. I really hope we can still be friends," he said.

Liam, who has already been linked to Leona Lewis, also admitted that one of the reasons he liked Danielle was because she was not interested in fame.

''I bought her a car for her birthday, but she really isn't that fussed by money or fame," he said.

"She was talking about dyeing her hair blonde and I said she should. She said she couldn't afford it - which was mad. She wouldn't even ask me for the money for that."

One Direction topped the Vodafone Big Top 40 last weekend with their new single 'Live While We're Young'. The song is the first to be taken from their new album 'Take Me Home'.

The band are due to return to the road next year for a UK arena tour in support of the album.
