One Direction Name Performing At Madison Square Garden Highlight Of 2012

The 'Gotta Be You' stars said headlining the iconic venue was the "top moment" of their careers.
One Direction have named performing a headline show at New York's famous Madison Square Garden as their highlight of 2012.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers have enjoyed huge success over the past twelve months including two album hitting the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 chart.
"We've had a big year," singer Zayn Malik admitted to MTV News.
Harry Styles admitted that appearing at their own show in New York, which sold out in just three minutes, had to be their top moment.
"I think it's always a really hard question when we get asked our top moment," he explained. "Madison Square Garden was definitely one of the top things we've ever done and will ever do."
He added: "I think it just topped off an amazing year for us, and it's just been amazing."
Meanwhile, the band will be back in the US in 2013 when they begin their 'Take Me Home' world tour.
The jaunt kicks off at London's O2 Arena on 23rd February and heads to North America in June.
