The 'Gotta Be You' singers' live DVD has outsold the number one album in the US.
One Direction have become the first band to outsell a number one album with a tour DVD in America.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers have topped DVD charts across the world with their live tour DVD 'Up All Night', and have outsold the current Billboard Top 200 number one John Mayer, with his album 'Born And Raised'.
John Mayer's latest release sold 65,000 copies last week while One Direction's tour DVD sold a total of 76,000, meaning it outsold all music albums last week to become the highest debut of the year.
"We're blown away by the success of the DVD all around the world and want to thank everyone who has gone out and bought it, the support means so much to us," band member Niall Horan said in a statement.
The 'One Thing' singers have already started work on the follow-up to debut album 'Up All Night', and recent rumours suggest they could release a brand new record before the end of the year.
One Direction are due to continue her US tour with a performance at the Events Center in San Jose, California tomorrow night (13th June).
