Zayn Malik Takes Little Mix's Perrie Edwards To Eid Celebration With Family

The 'One Thing' star celebrated the religious holiday by sharing the day with his girlfriend and family.

Zayn Malik introduced girlfriend Perrie Edward to his family over the weekend as they gathered together to celebrate the Muslim holiday Eid.

In a brand new picture posted on Twitter the One Direction star is seen posing alongside his father, siblings and cousins while Little Mix star Perrie is also present for the family portrait.

The pop couple met back on The X Factor UK in December 2011 but have only openly admitted and discussed their relationship since around May this year.

19 year-old Zayn is seen posing in a smart checked shirt while standing alongside Perrie, who got into the spirit of the religious holiday by wearing an ornate bindi on her forehead.

Zayn has been showing off a brand new hairstyle over the past two weeks, after debuting a new blonde streak in his hair at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.

The One Direction singer has made headlines today (22nd August) after sensationally quitting Twitter last night over claims he is "sick" of receiving online abuse and having to listen to people's "useless opinions" about him.

Since deactivating his official account Twitter has been flooded with statuses urging the 'Gotta Be You' star to reconsider and rejoin the site, while the hashtag '#ComeBackZayn' has been trending regularly across the world.

One Direction's brand new album is expected to be officially announced within the next month or two for a predicted release before the end of 2012.
