One Direction's Liam Payne Has Underwear Stolen After Fan Tries To Break Into Hotel

The 'Little Things' singer was woken up in his Sydney hotel by a fan trying to break into his room.

One Direction's Liam Payne has lamented his lack of privacy after a fan tried to break into his hotel room and then managed to steal some of his underwear.

The 'Best Song Ever' singer is out in Sydney, Australia this week on tour with the rest of One Direction, and admits he is very "embarrassed" after the fan managed to get hold of some of his boxer shorts.

"Strangest way I've ever been woken up, when ur in bed butt naked an sum1 is trying to force open your balcony this is gonna be a strange day," Liam tweeted after the incident this week. "So happy I woke up cuz that s**t would have been so unfair."

However, Liam soon realised the fan had somehow managed to steal a pair of his boxer shorts during the attempted break-in.

"Hmmm somebody stole my boxers I'm so embarrassed," he explained. "So how this happened, I went in the sea in those hotel staff put them outside to dry sum1 climbed on and stole them just to set the scene.

"#BreakIntoSomeonesHouseAndStealThereUnderwearDay right I'm off to Scarlett Johansson's house!" Liam later joked.

One Direction are now preparing for the release of new album 'Midnight Memories' on 25th November.
