One Direction Liam Payne's New Hair Inspired By Twilight Star

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer says he adopted his new look after being inspired by one of the fantasy film's male stars.

One Direction's Liam Payne says he modelled his recent new hairstyle on one of the stars of The Twilight Saga.

The 'One Thing' singer showed off his new look in November a week after reportedly becoming annoyed with comparisons to band member Harry Styles and his trademark curly style.

"It's inspired by the guy in Twilight," Liam admitted. "I modelled it on his.

"I was sick of having it long – and everyone telling me I looked like Harry."

The 'Gotta Be You' singer says he recently stopped straightening his hair after doing so for the past six years.

Liam says he is also aware of the mixed reception among One Direction fans about his new hairdo.

He added: "People keep telling me to ignore all the negative comments about it.

One Direction performed a warm-up show at the Watford Colosseum yesterday (18th December) and officially launch their 'Up All Night' tour in Wolverhampton on Wednesday (21st December).
