Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn are said to be eager to try and communicate with fans around the world.
One Direction are planning to learn the basics of certain foreign languages to help them communicate with fans, it's been reported.
The 'Live While We're Young' stars are said to have made the decision after struggling with the language barrier during their recent trip to Japan.
The group held a press conference with fans over the weekend, which Zayn Malik had to leave because he was feeling unwell.
"The press conference in Japan got embarrassing because the boys' culture shock was so obvious," a source told The Sun.
"Over the weekend they vowed to learn at least 20 of the most common words in the languages of the countries they're visiting before they land there.
"They think it will avoid embarrassing moments and build up a bond with fans."
