The 'Gotta Be You' stars are preparing to unveil their latest promo later today following a series of teasers.
The director of One Direction's new music video, Vaughan Arnell, has revealed that the band's latest promo is a "departure" from their previous work and will show the boys "as you've never seen before".
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers have worked with Arnell on their two previous 'Take Me Home' promos including the energetic 'Live While We're Young'.
"The ultimate tease, I think it's as you've never seen the boys before, kind of studio-base," he told MTV News. "I wouldn't say comedy, it's all tongue-in-cheek," he added.
The director said it was a good chance to capture the group in a new way and relished the opportunity to try something a little different.
"I think in the past, the boys have always been outside, it's always been kind of quite location-based, and this is the first studio-based idea I've done with them," he continued. "And as a tease you're going to see them dressed as Hollywood [stars], you're going to see them dressed as '50s sailors, you got the boys surfing.
"There's a lot going on in this one, so as a tease, it's as you've never seen the boys before."
The video to 'Kiss You' is set to premiere tonight (7th January) and follows on from a series of teaser clips the group have been sharing over the past week.
Meanwhile, One Direction will be heading out on their new 2013 world tour next month, kicking off the jaunt at London's O2 Arena on 23rd February.
