The 'One Thing' stars admit that although 'Take Me Home' won't feature the Canadian star, the future could bring a team-up.
One Direction have re-opened the door to a possible collaboration with Justin Bieber admitting it would be "wicked" to team-up with the Canadian star in the future.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars told Capital FM that although they didn't get the chance to work together on 'Take Me Home', the future could see the artists working together.
"Yeh, he's a cool guy. He's just a normal kid and we just get on quite well so yeh, we've been chillin' with Biebs," revealed singer Zayn Malik. "We weren't talking about that [a collaboration] at the house the other night but maybe – who knows.
He continued: "In the future, I don't think anything's going to be on the next album or anything, but in the future it would be wicked to work with him."
Earlier this month, Harry Styles ruled out reports of a collaboration with fans wondering if they would still be looking to work together anytime soon.
Following One Direction's triumph at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 this month, the group were seen hanging out with Justin at his house in LA.
