The 'Live While We're Young' stars will be playing at this year's Jingle Bell Ball in London.
One Direction will perform at this year's Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London, it's been announced.
The group will play the opening day of the event, which takes place over two days - 8th and 9th December - at the O2 Arena.
Since they played last year's Jingle Bell Ball, One Direction have enjoyed an incredible 12 months, becoming the first British act to top the US album chart with their debut album 'Up All Night'.
The group are currently preparing to release the follow-up 'Take Me Home', which includes their Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Live While We're Young'.
One Direction will be joined on the day one Jingle Bell Ball line-up by Rizzle Kicks, Lawson, Little Mix, JLS and The Script - with the rest of the line-up for day one to be announced later today.

Jingle Ball Ball tickets go on general sale on Monday (5th November 2012) at 8am.
