The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers could be set to create the soundtrack to the new 007 film.
One Direction have confessed that they would love to perform the theme tune to the upcoming new James Bond movie Skyfall.
Adele has been strongly linked with the prestigious role since details of the film first emerged, but the 'Gotta Be You' singers reportedly revealed that they don't see why a group can't create the song.
"Duran Duran did it, so it could be a group," the band told The Metro.
The movie will be Daniel Craig's third outing as 007 following his debut in Casino Royale and 2008's Quantum Of Solace.
The Hollywood actor was also involved in the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony on Friday night (27th July) when he met The Queen.
Former Bond theme creator Chris Cornell recently admitted that he thinks Adele would be "perfect" for the role and praised her success in the pop industry.

The group have teamed up with the likes of Ed Sheeran and McFly on tracks for the record and have teased plans to release new material later this year.
