The 'One Thing' singer and the country star will reunite to spend New Year's Eve together.

One Direction singer Harry Styles and his new girlfriend Taylor Swift apparently enjoyed around five Skype calls to one another a day during their recent festive break.

The couple spent Christmas apart after the boy band star returned home to Cheshire with his family, but have been keeping in touch whenever they can, according to The Sun.

"Harry and Taylor spoke online up to five times a day while they were apart," a source told the publication. "They got their families involved too, so it wasn't just them locked inside their bedrooms for hours on end."

The insider added: "It was a good opportunity to familiarise their families as they were all together at Christmas."

Harry was also reported to have surprised the country star with a Christmas singing telegram.

He will now spend New Year's Eve with the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer after initially missing his first flight after forgetting his passport.

The pair went public with their romance earlier this month after Taylor flew to the UK on a private jet to watch One Direction perform at the Jingle Bell Ball 2012.
