Harry Styles Receives Apology From Shoe Throwing Fan: "I Never Meant To Hurt You!"

The female fan who hit Harry in the crotch with her shoe says she just wanted him to touch something that belonged to her.

One Direction star Harry Styles has received an apology from the female fan who threw a shoe at him at last night's (26th February) tour show in Glasgow.

The 'Live While We're Young' singers are currently taking their 'Take Me Home' tour across the UK, but their Tuesday concert at the Glasgow SECC Arena saw a fan throw one of her shoes on stage hitting Harry in the groin in the process.

14 year-old Jade Anderson has now owned up to being the one who thew the shoe at 'Little Things' singer Harry, saying she just wanted him "to touch something that belonged to me".

"@Harry_Styles I'm the one that threw my shoe at you, I never meant to hurt you :-(," Jade tweeted earlier today. "The only reason the security let me back in is cos Harry told them too.

"And the police were telling me that I 'committed a criminal assault' and I could've killed him hahaha," she added.

"I just wanted him to touch something that belonged to me," Jade told the Scottish Daily Record. "I didn't mean to hit him where I hit him, I'm really embarrassed."

After being hit by the shoe in his crotch Harry fell over to the ground on stage in mock agony, but then quickly reassured fans that he was ok.

One Direction are currently auctioning off some of their clothes to raise money for charity.
